Im ersten Kapitel wird die Pädagogik von Rudolf Steiner behandelt. Hierzu gehe ich zunächst kurz auf die Biographie des Begründers ein, anschließend stelle ich die grundlegenden Gedanken seiner Pädagogik und deren Umsetzung in den Waldorfschulen vor. Auf gleiche Weise verfahre ich im zweiten Kapitel mit der Pädagogik von Maria Montessori und den Montessorischulen um im dritten Kapitel zu einem Vergleich zu kommen mit anschließendem Fazit im vierten Kapitel. Aufgrund des Umfangs der Arbeit beschränke ich mich auf die wesentlichen Grundzüge der pädagogischen Ansätze und lasse unter anderem den geschichtlichen Verlauf sowie mögliche Kritikpunkte weitestgehend außer Acht.
